- Select BP grouping
- Our BP Grouping has external number range assignment so enter a number with in Range.
- Select Business Partner General role (000000) .
- Enter essential details like name, address, and communication data. Further, add specific information such as bank, tax, and control data tailored to organizational needs.
Extending BP to Customer Role (FLCU00)
In the second step we have to extend the Business Partner General to Customer role FLCU00 for Financial Accounting and FLCU01 for customers.
- Enter company code and maintain mandatory fields, Account management, payment transactions, correspondence, and customer status details are crucial.
- Enter all the required details and save the settings.
Extend Customer for Sales Data with Role FLCU01
The FLCU01 role in SAP S/4 HANA is crucial for streamlined customer data management. It combines all customer related information, such as contact details and financial data, into a single profile within the Business Partner framework.

Extending the Customer for Sales and Distribution in BP
If the customer is linked to sales and distribution processes, input the relevant sales area data, including sales organization, distribution channel, and division as shown below.
- Fill out mandatory fields in Sales and Distribution data, such as Sales district, Customer group, Order probability, etc.
- In the Shipping Tab, enter Delivery Priority, Delivery plant, Shipping condition and Partial delivery
Check Rebates, Invoice dates, INCOTERMS, Terms of payment, Account assignment group, and Output Tax in the Billing tab.

Vendor Creation in Business partner
We have to extend the Business Partner with Role FLVN00 (FI Vendor).
- Fill out mandatory fields in Company Code, Reconciliation account in Account Management, and Payment Transaction tabs.
- Tables LFA1 and LFB1 get updated.
For Purchasing Data, select Role FLVN01 and update mandatory fields. Table LFM1 gets updated.
- Enter all the detail required for the vendor and save the settings.
Business partner “1002020” has been created successfully.

To view Our newly created business partner in SAP S/4 Hana, go to transaction code ‘BP‘.
